App not compatible for your device

I'm trying to download itv player and the santander app but it says my device is not compatible instead it directs me to the spanish version of th e apps even though my region is set to UK.

I would check with the app maker. Also, are you in Spain or using a Spanish ISP? It might be detecting that and redrecting you because of broadcast rights.

Also, try alternative app stores like 1Mobile Market, Amazon, and SlideMe Market. As Jerry indicated, your results with Google Play will be based upon your location, or at least the location of your internet provider.
