App storage space???

I recall hearing that you can manually move apps to SD with a utility for rooted phones. Can Android users confirm? What's the name of utility?

There are ways to move certain parts and in some cases all of an installed program to the SD card. This forum seems VERY limited in it's technical expertise, so...

I think its App2SD or something. I not sure hopefully someone will answer this. Also hopefully Froyo addresses this "issue".

Dude I'm not the one complaining and I never had 200 games installed at ONCE. I've had 100+ tho. My point was 3D games are overrated and apps that enhance your life is better to go after, and Android has a lot of those.

My Pre only has useful apps. Don't assume I just install thing to install them. Its just I don't really care about my IPod so I don't care what I put on it.

I didn't quote you, so please do not assume I was speaking of you specifically.

Even if there is presently a cap, expect it to be removed or a workaround created same as the Pre'.

That's money Android would be missing out on and that's not good business.

That problem will be remedied, if, in fact, there is such an issue...trust.

Why do you type everything in bold. Very annoying!

Oh ok, I just thought since I was the only person who stated 200 games you was referring to me. Its all good.

Nah, I have seen people complaining that the Incredible has 8GB, but it cannot be used for app storage either. People complaining just to complain it seems.

its just been announced in 2.2(froyo) you can move apps to the sd card and if you don't move them android will do it for you if you run out of space.

Thats good news. The EVO should have Froyo by about January 2011. By that time there will be a half dozen Android phones on th market that will make the EVO look very out dated.
