You would think this would be an easy one to find. My phone alerts me when I plug in a charger but not when the charger gets disconnected. Occasionally my phone gets disconnected from he charger and I don't notice till morning right before work. I cant find one on google play that just straight out does this.

Any advice would be great

A MacroDroid macro could easily do this.

Or as you have a Samsung then a Bixby routine could do this.

Set a Trigger of Power Disconnected and an Action with a notification and / or sound of some kind. The app is pretty easy to use for such a straightforward simple case although it can be very powerful if you were to exploit all its functionality.

Although I am curious as to how the phone can mysteriously get disconnected while you sleep. Could be an issue with the USB cable or fluff in the USB port on the phone?

correct I think the charging port is going bad. I'm trying to hold off the expense of getting it fixed.1729421952367.png

Check this out. I started to have some problems with my "C" connector needing to be pressed more firmly to charge and noticed one time it was not tight enough and didn't charge.

I used a plastic toothpick with a very small tip to scrape all inside the port and this seems to have helped a lot.
