Something odd about my watch caught my eye while I was driving home tonight, turned out to be it was installing an update. My Watch is now on the versions as seen below...

The odd part is the "decision" to install the update when it did. I have no idea when it downloaded and the watch was down to 16% battery by the time it finished.

I received this update today as well. It was odd that I wasn't given option to opt out until I had it on charger.

Yup, I felt the same way. Seems like someone missed the battery level check in the install trigger. I also found it interesting it installed while I was not on WiFi with my phone, but I just checked and found I have the AW app set to use background data. It's used 71 MB of mobile data during my current billing cycle yet only 51 MB of WiFi data in a similar time frame.

Got the update tonight. Pretty much the same story, updated while I was driving home with around 38% battery.

Was there anything else provided with this update, besides security patch?

so ever since this update, I've lost message notifications on my watch. I can text from the watch, but it won't notify me when I get a reply.

Any one else have this issue or know of a fix?

@jchapman01 I had trouble with all notifications after the update, then I rebooted my watch and the notifications restored.

Hmm... I've rebooted my watch a few times and it hasn't fixed the problem. I guess I'll have to reset the watch and start from scratch. Again.
