ok so this question my be in the wrong section its my first time so bare with me. this has been puzzling me from the first time i have read it. is there any way you can get all the features that you get with ios 8 and Yosemite to work with an android device. i mean from thinking it seems posable but was just wondering if any one else has been wondering the same and if there is an answer pleas point me in the right direction. i would like to see if it will work with my mac. thanks for all the help in advanced

Welcome to Android Central! You can install a number of apps from Google Play Store that can duplicate or mimic certain iOS features. Which features are you looking for?

Absolutely no offense intended, but if you want all of the features of iOS 8, is there a reason why you have an Android device?

If you want continuity between your Mac and phone then your phone must be an iPhone.

Yes I have used a few of the apps on the market but I would Luke the handoff features and all that answering calls, and all on my Mac and I love my android,I love to mess with things I am in college for, electrical engineering so I love to mess with things and my android allows me to do it I have my Mac book pro just for homework and all the cad programs and all

So you won't be able to use continuity on non apple hardware sadly. It's one of the benefits of being all in on Apple stuff. And honestly, it gets me worried that these companies are doing all this stuff to disease people from buying other products . it's getting harder to mix and match ecosystems

Pushbullet, MightyText, Google Services, and Google Voice/Hangouts. You are welcome.

Won't be as seamless though

Whatever you say. I showed someone how PushBullet mirrors my phone notifications (all of the ones I want) on my laptop and how I can reply to texts and they were amazed.

It is pretty seamless, Apple put it all under their umbrella, and let you use your computer as a Bluetooth headset and all of sudden it is ultra seamless Apple magic.
