This guy is actually a reasonable and fair reviewer of devices, who just happens to know the Apple ecosystem far better than that of Android. When he's looked at Galaxy phones in the past, he's been very complimentary, and often comments on how he wishes Apple would catch up in many areas. He isn't the most knowledgeable about certain aspects of Android, and sometimes says things that are just plain wrong. But he's not really a sheep.

All that said, he is almost certainly not moving to the Galaxy S10 on a permanent basis. He loves his Apple stuff, is deep into the ecosystem, and makes his living talking about Apple.

Depends on how much you value apps. If you really only want a smarter fitbit, then Samsung Gear will work. If you want Facebook messenger support, uber, Twitter, and more, then you might have to look at WearOS. I've recently made the switch from Tizen to WearOS and I couldn't be happier.

I was surprised when he praised the S10 after the Unpacked event but I was even more surprised when I first saw this video.

I agree. I think he is just testing out the S10 but then he'll go back to Apple. He invested a lot in Apple already.

Dave 2D, another guy pretty heavy into Apple and someone I like to watch, has preciously made a video on how much he is starting to hate Apple.

I think people are coming around to how evil Apple can be with their pricing structures, and how annoying they can be about not allowing more personal customization for their software. There always will be value in Apple as their products work well and they have the genius bar, they don't have the fragmentation that Android has, etc. But as someone like me who uses an Apple phone and some other Apple products, I think they are starting to lose their luster. They don't really innovate anymore, they just polish but at a very slow pace.

I've been watching videos for years and not once subscribed to anyone. I don't see the point, I just watch whatever comes up after a search.
