Apple Lawsuit - Launch Delay???

This is what Samsung and HTC need to do in order to avoid these restraining orders:
Ship the devices to the U.S. with NO INSTALLED OS. Ship hardware only. Then install device software after passing through customs.

Apple has become the commercial from the 80's where they portrayed Microsoft as the evil empire and apple as the savior. I own a MacBook but apple's infrastructure sniffles originality. They are also very proprietary with all of their products. Now they are the empire.

Lets all relize also that Samsung is no Angel either. I have plenty of Apple products and they are an American company. For years I have frowned on Samsung for their misleading advertising concerning LCD tv's labelled as LED tv's.Also their customer support is garbage compared to Apple.

For apple "Me thinks the lady does protest too much." For so long apple was on the brink. Relegated to the small section in computer stores with their programs. Then came the iPhone which infused billions of dollars into apple in a way their computers never did. Now like a rabid dog, apple tries to destroy any inkling of competition they attack like a scientologist who thinks someone said something bad about them.

I thought that they had already filed the suit. If they file next week, hopefully the case is argued after the 3 to 5 shipping window for my pre-order.

Hell, Asus flat out copied the Air, right down to the placement of internal components!

Asus builds the Macbook Air for Apple...that is why it reaembles it so close.

Do I want Apple to ban or suspend shipments of the S3? Hell no. I spent nearly $600 for my no contract AT&T version! I wish Apple would stop suing, but I understand why they are doing it and to say they aren't innovative in both design and advertising, well, that is you opinion, but I dare say that you are makig that comment through rose colored glasses.

No glasses here & never knocked their current products. Don't own any of them & couldn't judge them. Just spend the money on research & development of new tech & not lawsuits.

If they advertised the infringements in way where they showcased they created X & played up the originality aspects, people would follow that. All I see stemming from the court cases are irritated potential customers.

With the Apple-Moto suit soon to be officially thrown out, here's hoping. Innovation over injunctive relief made Apple a great company. Apple may want to take it easy with Samsung who makes chips for their devices. HTC and Moto don't make any of their parts.

The story was, they were trying to get the SGSIII added to the same hearing as the Galaxy Nexus. That was suppossed to start yesterday(Friday).

Yes, maybe selfish, but as long as I get mine....I will still not be happy with any delays caused by Apple, but having the phone myself- muy importante por mi!

Never used an android, never seen one in person.

Decided to try the S3.

I'm sick of apple..I have a 2008/2009 ( I forget ...whenver the first unibody was) MacBook Pro..

When did apple come back out of the dumpster? They used to be on the verge of oblivion from what I remember as a kid.

Regardless.. My MacBook pro is the best built laptop I have ever owned...but its also the biggest pile of I have ever owned. I am now on my THIRD mag port board.. their fancy ass that looks cool and seems good is garbage. The last one melted the 80$ power adaptor when it went out..great!

At least the rest of the machine has lasted 3x longer than any other laptop I have ever ownsd.

Ok Off topic there...when do I get my S3! I can't wait to try the android ! being a programmer for a living I think this will be really cool!
