Apple Music Not Showing Metadata

Hi

I have recently installed Apple Music on my Nexus and use it via bluetooth to my Skoda Octavia Amundsen unit. When I play a track no album/artist info is sent. If I play some google play music first and then go back into apple music the metadata now picks up and everything works fine. Obviously this is annoying since I want my car to start playing when I enter it and I don't want to mess around switching apps.

Can anyone recommend a solution to this please? I am not sure why it doesn't work at first but then works after google play music has been used for a few seconds.

I have this same problem with my car and switching between Play Music and Pocketcasts, except my N6 will get confused and then play the audio through the phone instead of my car speakers. I might be making a reach here, but I think it's related. I've already tried normal BT troubleshooting with no success and I've lived with it for the time being. I use both so I'm not willing to disable Play Music to test it out (if someone has feel free to chime in). I kinda wish there was a setting like in most audio apps where you can turn off BT audio controls in Play Music. I have a gut feeling that would fix it.

This is still an issue with my new galaxy s7 edge. Has anyone found a solution to this please?
Unfortunately, no. I even switched to a new Nexus 6p and the issue still persists. Like I said previously, I think it had something to do with Play Music taking over BT audio controls. It's up to Google really

I disabled the google play app and it didn't make any difference to the track info on Apple Music. Guess it's not that causing it then. Think I will just stick with Google music then.
