The Apple music app is now available in the play Store.. Anyone trying out it?

I have been trying it out for a couple of days, and it's too buggy. Starts downloading things when there's nothing to download, sometimes it skips and stops even though connection is strong (I tried Spotify and that wouldn't skip, switched back to Apple and it skips).

The service itself and the app design isn't as bad. Sure, it's different and it might take some getting used to, but it's not terrible. I just hope they'd work out the kinks a lot faster.

Also, no web player and so far not compatible with Tablets, so Spotify is still my go-to service, although I might give YouTube Red a go after the three months of Apple are done.

I use iTunes and then upload to Google play, so I'm hoping Apple is finally working out the possibility of iTunes for Android.. It only makes sense.

They do offer the same thing as Google Play, where you can upload your own songs I believe. It matches whatever is in your own iTunes library to their catalog.

Bear in mind that some albums might be available in iTunes for purchase but not for streaming.

I tried it but it kept making my screen go black. Had to reboot all the time. Had to uninstall it

I'm doing it through the free three months. Sure I'll save $30, but at the end I see myself going back to Spotify. As far as the match thing goes, it was my understanding that's separate and has its own (annual) fee?

Streaming the songs seems alright, but download is buggy.. Look forward to the next version.

Not according to their help page. I think that it was a separate thing if you just wanted your own music on the cloud rather than the full Music service, but I might be wrong.

Also, for me at least, it keeps skipping and stopping randomly. I've tried both in mobile network and on WiFi (and since Spotify doesn't skip and I can watch HD Videos without a hitch, I assume the network speed is not an issue).

Again, promising if they iron the wrinkles.

Still am a charter subscriber to Play music @ $7.99/month. I hate itunes software for the PC and the whole syncing business. Transferring purchases, the inscrutable icons....spinach! I tried Apple Music for free on my iPad and didn't think it was better than Play Music.
