apple voice text not working when an android user is in the group text

I am in a group text with apple users and their voice text will not work.

I believe that is a feature of the Apple messages protocol and will not work with an Android device.

If you try another message app like Google message can we test if your friends still have a issue?

I meant for you to use a different message app not them , might be something with your stock one .

I'll ask again, are these "voice texts" that feature I linked to information about? If so, I don't believe those work when you don't have an iPhone. It's not really a voice text, it's a voice message being sent through Apple's messaging protocol.
