I have been missing my epic 4g application manager that was built in since I got rid of it in january. I dont like task killers as they do more harm then good as well as dont work like what I need or want. The samsung manager showed you what applications were running and how much resources each was using and did try and shut down services that were necessary. Was great for closing unecessary things on the fly without having to dig through settings menus or wasting my time with task killers.

What application management setups are y'all using?

I'm just allowing the built in application manager in Honeycomb do its thing. The task switcher button lets me see the most recent apps opened and I haven't noticed any slowdown due to poor memory management. Also I don't think it's affected battery poorly. Using the dock I can usually get 3-4 days per charge. And was getting 2-3 without the dock.

Im not worried about those as I have run this tablet pretty hard and still can work. I also think I got more then the 16 advertised hours of battery with the dock as I fooled around with it tuesday night for a few hours and then worked 10 hours with it as my only computer and then got home and used it for a while. Seems like I got alot more then 16 hours of actual use and alot more then that inculding time sitting around.

All in all Im very impressed with it, but Id still like to close applications I no longer need or want open. Not the end of the world so I guess Ill keep looking and if I dont find anything I wont be too sad.
