sounds like you are flashing di01 theme on dj05 rom or visaversa.

does it make a difference if u zip the file after its already been unzipped because my mac automatically unzips files but i compress them back to go on my phone but it wont go threw

i dont know, but why dont you try downloading it from your phone than move it to the root via root explorer

i usually either go to the site and hit the link and download the file to my phone,,,or i email it to myself and download it from the email attachment.. then i take Root Explorer, find where it was downloaded to cut or copy it, then i go to the root of the internal SD and paste it, just like i would if i had it hooked up to the computer

looks awesome lol i love the droid notification bar

why deodexed ROMs & themes no worky?

Also, are you using a deodexed ROM? If not, you won't be able to use a theme

Kevin, I am using an ADW Black theme I got in the Market and it seems to work fine, and I'm running JT's SC v.9 for DJ05 and it's deodexed (at least I thought it was).

Why can't you use a theme on a deodexed ROM? Seems like most people who are rooted use deodexed ROM's and are running themes.

What am I missing here?

i think he is refering to the deodexed rom series in rom manager. they have there own theme that comes preinstalled. the themes from the market are launcher themes and can be applied rooted or not. the other themes, the ones that have to be flashed, make other changes that require a root. from what i understand most of the custom roms are deodexed to a point. im not sure as to what makes the deodexes series different from a regular custom rom.

Another alternative is to get wifi file explorer free from market and transfer from comp to phone via wifi..you can transfer to any dir on phone, no moving required, assuming you have wifi of course.
