Apps are not in alphabetical order

[Android Central Question]

I have a standard Android box connected to my TV. I have had about 6 of these to date and every one of them displayed the apps in alphabetical order. Purchased a new one recently and it displays the apps in random order. An android phone has the 3 dot symbol where I could choose to display them in the alphabetic order but this facility is not present in the Android box. Can you help please
