So I'm trying to customized my note. But I can't change the apps that are at the bottom of the screen.
it's frustrating. I've tried almost everything. I'm stuck with email, S note, S planer, Internet and setting.
Also, how do I set it so they are available on the lock screen.

Touch and hold on them until the tablet vibrates, then move them to remove. To place a new app, go to the app drawer, and hold on it until it vibrates. The device will take you back to the homescreen. Then just move it into the dockbar (you call the space at the bottom of the screen the dockbar FYI).

Settings > Personal/lockscreen > Lock screen options > slider for Shortcuts. I'm also partial to the information ticker set to news, but whatever floats your boat.

thats the thing. I have no Slider for Shortcuts
Settings> lock Screen> lock screen options>LOL Jokes. there are only options for Clock, slider for weather, ripple effect, ink effect and help text

It's not like this one?

I believe some of the carriers removed this ability. Other than a software update or rooting you probably wont get this ability. Honestly, im not sure if att is one of them, they are my carrier but I have been on several custom roms since november and have no idea whats normal and whats not.

I cannot speak knowledgeably about stock software on anything but the US wifi model. You can probably toss a rom on there to give you that capability. Also, you can use a lock screen app to replicate this behavior. Widgetlocker does this I believe.

I wouldnt waste money on widget locker. Word on the web is we are getting 4.2.2 by the end of may early june and lockscreen widgets are part of the 4.2.2 software.
