Apps closing on their own

So I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I'll be reading am email and suddenly gmail will close and I'm back on the home screen. I'll be browsing the Internet, and same thing, closes and back to the home screen.

Anyone else having this? Advice or thoughts are appreciated. I'm running stock if that helps.

It's called a crash. Any computer platform I've used had a few from time to time. The best thing to do is to leave feedback or reviews for these apps so the developers know about the problem.
