Apps crashing after system update

After the system update I am no longer able to play certain games. They crash when loading in. Is there a setting that has changed or a way to rollback to a previous update.

I'm having that issue with my camera app. When taking a photo using the scan option the app will hang for a few seconds then crash to my home screen. I've cleared the cache and the app and the phone. I may end up having to do a factory reset. I hope not! I always end up losing stuff doing that. Phone just seems buggy since the update. Lags at times. I'm hoping it will work itself out.

Try clearing data then force stop.
If not then factory reset

This is why I never get excited about OS updates.. The forums go from thee phone is a beast, iphone killer to this won't work, this is doing that, just problems, then we start seeing the you need to do the dreaded FDR. Just give me the option to not update at all. Change isn't always good.

I agree didn’t need the update and really haven’t noticed any big changes that I needed. Apple does it right everyone gets the update and of their is a problem a corrected update is out within a week. Also everyone can get the beta version.

I rarely have issues with updates. The ability to update is why I went from a perfectly good Note 9 to the N20U. I'll power off and power on to help it sometimes, but this time I didn't think of that until later. Haven't had to do a factory reset after an update in years. I rarely clear data, cache, etc., unless absolutely needed. These can and do help, but I don't need to do them often. I use my phone a lot, especially now and I'm using a lot of data.

OP: which app? I've tried my game apps and the ones I like work. Perhaps it's not compatible with A11. Sometimes it's the app and not the update. Check the app store and see if others have comments about the issue.

Just tried it and it works on mine. No issues.

It's helpful to know a bit more. App if not stock, country you're in, carrier, which Note (regular or ultra), etc.

I'm in the USA, on tmobile, locked and Note 20 Ultra.

My update has been flawless so far not even a minor fart all is good in the hood here.
