Apps frequently restarting

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this has been addressed before, couldn't find in search.

When I'm in an app, it will keep restarting. YouTube videos reload every minute or so, Amazon returns to home screen every few minutes, BBC news goes back to home page, SwiftKey keyboard pauses then comes back every few minutes. The phone has been great until this behavior started about a week ago.

My GS7 Edge is a verizon model, just updated to most recent software with no improvement. It has several GB of memory free, no power saving activated and a pretty simple setup. No SD card. Have rebooted several times, would prefer to avoid factory reset if possible.

Also, try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-30240

No memory management or equivalent installed.

That is incredibly strange behaviour and must be incredibly frustrating to.

Hope Wiping Cache Partition helped.

Have you used any app disabler? Or using Greenify?

Thanks all for the responses. Cache partition didn't help.

Had resigned myself to a factory reset, waited until I got home from travelling to do this. As soon as I got back to the US all symptoms went away. Suspect there is some Verizon interference here, most frustrating. But now back working as normal at least, until the next trip..
