Apps on FROYO no unlocking screen.

I've looked all over xda and AC for a solution to this and have come up empty. Apps like Go SMS with the pop up feature that unlocks the screen with a quick reply pop up doesn't unlock the screen anymore. Power amp music control lockscreen thats supposed to rid the original phones lockscreen while using also doesn't work. Instead you unlock power amps and then the phones. This worked flawlessly on all the sc's. I tried running the official froyo, the debloated froyo, and the evil fascinate 3.3.2 rom and none of them work. I don't know whether to ask the devs of the apps them selves or the devs of the roms. (Obviously I cant with the official froyo)
If anyone has a suggestion to fix this please share. I've also tried fixing permissions on each one and still no go. I've tried deleting the lockscreen app included in the evil fascinate rom and just using the puzzle lock and still no go.

did you try shutting of the stock lock screen?

how do you mean? like using cwm and disabling the locks?

I dont think theres a way to do that on the fascinate? if i go under location and security under screen lock i put none. but thats for patterns pins or passwords. After i clicked none it still doesnt work. As far as choozing lock screens under display i have no option to turn the lock off. But thats not quite what im trying to do.

To get rid of the lock screen after OTA froyo download, I installed an app from the market called "AntiLock". You have to reboot after install before it works.

Yea but this is not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to allow certain apps to unlock the screen like they did before

I am having the same issue and cannot for the life of me figure it out or get an answer from anyone like handcent or go sms team.

Yea its driving me nuts. I think the culprit has something to do with the phone thinking there its a pin pattern or password on our lock screen that's enabled. apparently its against the law for an app to dis regard that. Even though I'm not using any pins our passwords. I think something in the phone thinks we are. Still haven't found a fox for this. Wish some of the devs will come across this thread and share some input. With out these features I hardly ever see when I get a text.

Tried using no lock as well and it doesn't even work now . Wth ?
