Apps on sd card loading issue

Recently when I switch the battery in my Thunderbolt, it takes the sd card forever to load the apps that are on it.

Like 10 minutes or more. The last time I turned it off to switch the battery I waited about 10 minutes, apps didn't load, so I restarted the phone again waited another 10 minutes and finally unmounted and remounted the sd card. About 5 minutes later the apps showed up.

It's not a bunch of apps. A couple of games, google+, opera browser, tweetcaster etc.

Pictures on the sd card load up fine.

Anybody experience this? Haven't added any new apps, and this is a new issue that just started the last few days.

Any suggestions would be awesome.
BTW stock not rooted.

There is a program on the Market site called "SDrescan"...try that.

You might want to remove the SD card from the phone, put it into an adapter, and use your PC to run CHKDSK on it to check for file system issues.
