Apps on SD Card

I just got an LG G6. I am new to Android. If I buy an SD Card, can I move apps to the card or just pictures and videos?

I believe just media but I would like to do the same being that I have a 200gb card inserted

Some apps can b e moved but many cant. Go to Settings/Application Manager and work your way through the list. Some will let you move them. Sometimes, after an up-date they move themselves back to the device memory and you have to do it again.

I keep meaning to look for a app that will move them all at once and keep them there but......

I must be getting old - forgot I already had All in One Toolbox which moves apps to the sd card for you.
