apps. saved to AS card

Just bought a Moto G lte as a backup to my Nokia 820. Great phone but I do notice one thing that is a bit of a problem. None of the preinstalled apps can be moved to the SD card or deleted. Is this normal. On my Nokia 820 I have every app installed on the SD card except two that would not allow it. Also I downloaded about 30 apps and only 16 of the 30 would allow being installed to the SD card. I have the same 30 on my 820 and they are all installed to the SD card. I talked to my brother who has a Samsung S3 with KitKat 4.4.4 on it and he has the same problem. Again is this normal.

Welcome to Android Central! With Android, you can't move an entire app to the SD card--only a portion (if the phone even supports it--not all of them do). System apps and preinstalled "bloatware" apps can't be uninstalled either--you can usually disable them in the Settings>Apps menu. If you rooted the phone, you could then uninstall these apps, but you need to be cautious, because if you remove something important, there might not be any going back.

Thank you for the information. With the upgrade to 8.1 on the 820 it allows just about everything to be installed to the SD card. The G is a very nice phone (great screen). Only wish it allowed better use of the SD card. I suppose I can live with the limitations but we always want more
