Android Central Question

So I recently brought a Nokia 7 Plus on Android 8.1. Mostly things work great, but I've noticed that apps seem to randomly lose internet connection at parts. So I could be on Twitter, and suddenly it won't load any more pictures until I close and reopen the app, when it all loads immediately. Similar things happen like YouTube videos not loading, Facebook comments not loading etc..., again all fixed by closing and reopening the app. When working, the WiFi is perfectly fast, and this happens on mobile data too.
Does anyone have any ideas what I could do? I've already restored default connectivity settings and it seemed to help for a bit but happening again now.

Sorry for slow reply. Issue occurred again in Google Maps in safe mode so nothing I've installed.
I've tried loads of things now, clearing caches, reinstalling, disabling WiFi calling, resetting Wifi preferences, disabling battery optimisation and installing the Android P beta to see if that changes anything. Sadly nothing has fixed it.
Worth saying that in a similar fashion, my phone often misses Facebook messenger notifications, as if that app has lost internet connection like the others.
Nokia have suggested I send my phone in for repair but it sounds like a software bug to me so I don't know what they can do? But I've googled the issue and nobody else is reporting it so that does make me feel like my phone is faulty.
Very confused, any help appreciated.

If it's a software issue, then it would be a firmware issue, which means it's either a bug, or corrupted firmware. If it's a bug, then all you can do is report it to Nokia and hope they patch it in an update. If it's corrupted firmware, then you'd have to try reinstalling the firmware. From a quick web search, it looks like the process is a bit involved: https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...kia-7plus-official-firmware-mar-2018-t3768494. So your best bet might be to send it in for warranty repair/replacement (which is what you'd have to do anyway if it does turn out to be a hardware issue).
