Will the motorla droid ever allow apps to be installed on the sd card?

If you're rooted you already can if you have a ROM that supports it, like cyanogenMOD for example.

I think that will come soon. The root apps2sd is a temporary fix.

Froyo offers that. Not sure if the Droid will ever see Froyo unless its root.

According to PC world Froyo should be released on the Droid in June (Next Month!!)

But, we all know how Verizon is. My best guess is August/September.
