Apps won't download due to a popup

Hi everyone I have a a70s smart android phone ,I use Goole play store for all my apps ,but I can not seem to download new apps ?, I click on an app it starts to download then I get a popup on my screen telling me to free up space I have 4GB,phone storage and I also have a 32GB SD card mounted in the phone ,but every time I try to add an app the same message appears on the screen !!, can anyone help me with this issue with my android ?

Apps do not get installed on SD card so it is only the internal storage you need to be concerned with. App files are compressed so will take up more space in certain circumstances especially gaming apps which may download more data after installation. What app is giving you issues?

Welcome to Android Central! You say you have 4 GB free, or that the phone came with only 4 GB internal storage? The Galaxy A70s is supposed to have 128 GB of internal storage, but if you got a clone/knockoff (like from Wish or Joom), then it could very well have only 4 GB of internal storage.
