April 1st Software Update out.

Just installed this update and the April 1st security patch in the UK coming in at 1375.96mb.
Not had chance to see what's new, fixed or broken!

No issues here so far anyway so hopefully this update helps some people out if they have issues.

Glad this update is rolling out closer to the first of the month. Another rather large update in terms of file size. Hopefully the U.S. devices will get it soon.

Just installed the April update on my UK Exynos device, but unfortunately it did not resolve the lag or the GPS issue.

I'm in the UK using a Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256Gb from Samsung UK.

It's a conundrum as to why some owners GPS is glitching and some are not.

Mine works flawlessly on Google Maps and from another Bus app that I track my buses to commute.

Some seem to indicate using Samsung Smartswitch to transfer over info from the old onto the new phone could be the culprit for some.

Mine works great too and I use GPS most of the day at work. The only thing that let's me down is when I ask Google Assistant where I am and 9 times out of 10 it places me at an address I was at earlier in the day but I believe that's a well documented ongoing issue with Google and not my own device

I can confirm I used Smart Switch. I've read other people who had issues with lag also used Smart Switch, and factory resetting the phone and reinstalling it from scratch fixed it for them. I'm not prepared to do that though, it would take me forever, I'd rather live with lag here and there and a dodgy GPS. And I'm still hoping they will fix the GPS issue soon as apparently Samsung's acknowledged it.

Well they might not have fixed any of the above issues yet, but my screen on time is significantly better since this update, so they seem to have addressed battery life.

Looks like almost all of the international devices are receiving the April update.

Haven't seen anything about any of the U.S. devices receiving it yet as of today.

I'm hoping within a week we see it come to the U.S. unlocked devices. Am seeing file sizes if between 1350 MB to 1500 MB.
