Hi everybody, I'm new to the forum!
I've been doing some research and I've found that the Archos 43 or Archos 70 are the most affordable non-phone Android device for me. But I cannot decide which one is better. Perhaps you guys could give me your opinions? Thanks in advance.

I chose the A70-250Gb, which works OK after a few problems (but I am new to Android, so they may be my fault). I find it good for the web, E-books, Email, Video and MP3. The image handling is less than perfect. I loaded various files from a few K to HQ-14meg. There can be problems with rendering and zooming niggles, though it zooms quickly enough. Some of the early problems went after the last firmware upgrade.

IMHO: The A43 16Gb looks very interesting, but the 8Gb is often much cheaper. A lot depends on eyesight and space-weight issues. If my eyes were a better I might have bought the A43-16Gb and liked it. However, my sight is poor. I wanted to read books, scan the web, check my Email, follow World-News and watch video. For all that I think the A70 works well. I chose it mainly for the big hard drive, but the other factors made my decision clear.

Good luck.

43 has a resistive screen... if I remember correctly. For me thats enough for me to take that out of the competition. Capacitive is the only way to go.
