Are samsung rewarding exynos users with more storage and less in price?

Here in UK storage starts at 256GB and starts at £1,179 and for 512GB it is £1,279.

While sd865+ seems to be starting at 128GB for $1300?

I was wondering about that. At least you buyers forced to get Exynos versions will get "some" compensation!
Update! I totally misread the pricing! I was thinking US dollars not British Pounds. No compensation!

1179 british pounds to US dollar = $1546??

How is that considered a reward anywhere when it's almost $250 more than US?

And 1279 UK dollars = $1677 US when a 256gb Note 20 Ultra is showing $1449 US?

What was seen as 1300 $ was the same in pounds. It is certainly the same when it comes to apple products. The difference is sometimes a matter of 40-50£ difference.

The s20 ultra here was £1400 and forget me if I’m wrong here but wasn’t it the same in $?

That being said... Samsung does the silliest things with their models varying configurations and colors for different countries.

I wonder... the South Korean market gets the SD 865+ models to make sure their home market doesn't get screwed with Exynos models... wonder if they get the 256gb base and all colors available?

Honestly I'm not good with how prices and conversions work... but going with a Wired UK article...

S20 Ultra... £1,199 for 128GB and £1,399 for 512GB while the 128gb in US was $1399.

I'm hesitant to pull the trigger just yet for the Samsung Note 20 Ultra due to the current thoughts over the Exynos chipset we get in our UK versions.

I'll wait until I see some feedback from reviews and YouTube.

For the first time I'm tempted to look at importing one with a Snapdragon chipset ! As long as I can get the region lock removed and weigh up the 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty possible issues.

As far as I'm aware they are but I'm happy to be corrected if not.

Region Lock.
"All current Samsung phones come with an active regional lock when first bought. Assuming it's not also locked to a specific network, using a SIM from the same regional origin as the phone for at least 5 minutes of total talktime will disable the regional lock and allow you to use a SIM from any other region from then on."

My Note 9 was Australian and I had no problems (I'm in Ireland) but maybe they fix it before exporting them.

I don't think I could do with the hassle unless I was keeping it for at least 2 years (which is possible I suppose with this beast) but saying that, out of all the Samsung products that I have owned, it was only the Note 4 that had to go in under warranty for a speaker issue.
