so i was running Nookie Froyo on SD and everything was well big and really finger friendly now that i'm funning Froyo internally everything shrunk. is it supposed to be like this? If so i think i might head back to Nookie SD

I took Snaps of 3 different screens & put Froyo IN and Froyo EX side by side show you what i mean

Purchase root explorer. Mount as r/w (read write) and edit system/build.prop file. On the lcd density line try something like 200 (it should be 160 now). Save and reboot. You may want to experiment with different values.

There is also a LCD Density app in the market which is simpler, though the setting tends to revert back after a reboot

Edit: BTW, Nook default is 160 which is what you're seeing now. Nookie on SD is 240. Personally I prefer 180 which lets me take advantage of the larger screen but still is big enough to read

Do you have to use Root Explorer (purchased) or can something like ES Explorer work?

C'mon.... You saved $200-$300 and $20+/month going with a Nook Color instead of a Samsung or Motorola tablet...spend $5 on Root Explorer. :p

For your smart information ~ I have purchased Root Explorer for my OWN use. A friend was asking me the question and I thought could get an honest answer here....
