Are there any WhatsApp 3rd party apps I can use?

Hi, I just migrated here from the Blackberry 10 world. Just got myself a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Been using it for a few days and I'm trying to get used to this.

The phone is very fast so this is good. However, I do have a problem the WhatsApp application that I have is really lacking in features unlike what I'm used to in the Blackberry 10 world. It's there a third party app for WhatsApp that I can use?
