Are there no Software updates?!

I've had my note 3 for a year now and have only had 1 software update lol. I'm currently on 4.3. Is that the way android rolls or am I missing something here? I check for software updates every 2 or 3 days.

Its the carriers. If I'm correct at&t and verison had another update after the 4.4.2 update

I'm got a big software update (2nd in around a year - last one was Lollipop) on my Rogers Note 3 this morning ( Sat. Sept. 5th)

I noticed a whole bunch of apps got updates this week - so I guess this update was in the works for a little while.

OS version is till 5.0 after update
