I realized that the best way for malware to hide is under a name that sounds legit. There are two apps which I am investigating on my phone that I haven't seen discussed anywhere, and I was hoping you could help me check whether they should really be where they are:
1) Under Settings -Apps - Configure Apps - Can Modify System Settings
is an App called "Mobile Services" (represented by a Purple Icon with an Arrow point down). Note it isn't labeled "Google" Mobile Services. Using a "Force Stop" on the App doesn't seem to affect the Phone's functionality.
2) Under Settings - Personal - Google - Connected Apps is an Icon called "Android Device" (green android robot icon) which I havent seen discussed anywhere as a default icon under Connected Apps. The icon is blurry, as if in low-resolution compared to the crisp-icons found everywhere else.
Help is much appreciated.
PS: Am on Android 6.01
