I've also been experiencing a crackling noise from the speaker when playing certain games.

I've had the pixel XL for about a month. No rattle on my end. I did however experience the flicker. Only happened, as you said, at 100% charge while still plugged in. It has since gotten worse to randomly happening throughout the day. Just keep an eye on it. Google is replacing mine, if yours gets worse, they may replace yours as well.

Since I've already exchanged once to no avail, I'll wait until the next firmware update to see if it's a software issue that can be fixed before exchanging again. Since it's defective, they have to exchange it under warranty.
