I just sold a clnr thunderbolt on eBay for $175 buy it now. It didn't last 4 hours. I also switched to the nexus from the bolt. I love this phone.

I'm just torn. My plan was to wait and see if I have money left from my Vegas trip in April and buy the s3. Don't know if I should use my upgrade on the nexus.

I tried to sell mine on the marketplace here and on Craig's List for $150 with the extended battery and 2 cases....didn't sell. I wouldn't expect to get more than $100 for it.

ill have to look into this, i thought it would run me $199

I know you're on Verizon, obviously, but I picked one up from T-Mobile for free-after-rebate, so people are definitely running sales on the S3. Look around for them. I was consistently seeing them for $99-149 with a 2-year contract before I pulled the trigger!

This phone is great too, you won't be disappointed if you go this route.

Anyways, as for the selling of a thunderbolt, I wouldn't try to get more than $100-120 for mine and that's with a $35 Sedio Hard Case and a hybrid case. Mines in flawless condition except for the kickstand, and I even have a brand new screen protector I would put on it presale.

Best thing to do is hit Ebay and pull up TBolt listings.. Look at the recently sold/closed listings... It will give you a better idea of what they have sold for and how long ago...

Its safe to say you should see at least $100... There has been less quality, way older devices still selling for close to $100 or more. Its all about presentation on Ebay and how you market the item... Gotta stand out from the rest of the listings...
