First of all let me just own up. The Note7 is an ultimate looker. It even makes the GS7E look somehwat outdated imho. Especially the subtle curves and the small refinements to the entire phone like the black accents to the metal parts of the black onyx, giving it the effect of a phone with a seemless sheet of glass.
Samsung has nailed the design here. I even imagine how these will look on a 5.2" screen (oh boy). When the phone (black onyx one) is off, the Note7 just looks downright futuristic. In my eyes, the Note7 and the standard Moto Z are the most eye catching phones on planet, and by some distance even. They must always attract attention, no matter how you spin it.
Now, I still can't believe that samsung decided to release this as a supposed upgrade to a note 5 and s6e+? What's worse is that the Note series is hardly better than the S series now and even being similar to a last generation note/edge sibling.. Smh..
Samsung thinks an average user even remotely cares about the S-pen after the first week? Lol.. that thing can't even right properly to save its life ffs.. At least not Without making your handwriting look like a nursery pupil's
*yeah, I'm expecting somebody will now claim he uses the S-pen every minute of everyday and even uses the pen to sign his contracts and do fine art exhibitons*
You know you had a fail when samsung starts giving odd/extreme examples on where you'd be able to use the Iris scanner.
In their words, *just when u come out of the pool/bathroom because FPS aren't compatible with water*
lol, as if a passcode wouldn't have done the job. And even if you say my fingers will be wet to apply a passcode/pattern, than how would you have operated the entire phone after unlocking it with "iris" in the first place? With your eyes then? Lol. If you're gonna bring out/create new tech then the least you can do is make it practical/faster/convenient/seemless, not some half arsed feature just because you can.
Even their ads are basically lying to people to think you don't need to first put the phone on and swipe up first before you use the iris. WTF?? Meaning its actually a lot slower than any other implementation. But even so, no problem but why do you have to lie? So, they're not proud/confident of their implementation? And expect us to think its useful? Totally embarrassing tbh.
Reminds me of how LG advertises its "friends", trying to lie to customers that the phone doesn't need to go off when you add a "friend". These are the height of poor implementations!!!
Now even the S series are even having bigger batteries and thesame CPU and GPU's as the Note too? Yet they where quick to remove the useful IR blaster and FM radio last year, all for a Rehatched S7E? And here I was thinking common sense would have made them bring it back.
What the hell happened to the Dual cameras, SD 821, 6gig of ram, 4,000mah battery, continuum mode?? Things that would have made this phone worth the almost $900 they're asking?
