In the UK it is £599 which is just £100 more than the 4a 5g. To me that is the perfect price point for the phone. I don't have 5g anywhere near me, so I don't need that facility right now in a phone. I will wait until next year and maybe get it as a second phone. I do miss having a pixel device. The 4xl was a disappointment to me and I gave it to my husband. Face unlock just never worked for me. I like the fps on the back. I would like the sage colour.

I agree that I too miss having a Pixel phone. Maybe next year I too will buy the 5. It seems to be a very intriguing device.

The trade-in option didn't seem to work for me. It was grayed out. Maybe because the 5G Verizon version says coming soon.
I was able to "join the waitlist" for the sage green.

This happens every year were people insist the unlocked version and the Verizon version are the same. Verizon will tell me differently.

Also, does anyone know how the 765G compares with last year's flagship in the 4XL, the 855?

I owe $325 on my 4xl and Google will offer me $350. Does that payment go to sychrony bank to pay off my 4xl or do they just send me a check? I'm seriously considering trading it in for the 5.

If you are talking about a trade in that comes off the top of the new phone but you have to pay off the old phone separately.

Are you sure? So I would still either have to pay the remaining $325 off or still pay my monthly payments for the remaining 13 months and plus the new payment? $699- $365= $335÷24. ($13.91(New phone)+ $24(old phone)? So either way, I have to pay off the Pixel 4?

Is it possible to sell it on Swappa and use that money to pay off the balance? Or do I have to pay it off first then sell it?

Yes you can sell your Pixel on swappa, you don't have to pay it off first. Google will add the Pixel 5 cost to your existing balance. You pay off the total balance, not each phone separately.
