Are you guys experiencing these problems?

A little light bleed on mine, but no dead pixels, creaking, etc. Couldnt be happier with it.

I had the Asus and was going to sell my xoom, but in all honesty this tab is cheap a ss quality and I mean cheap. And yes I had the creaking back panel, light bleed along the whole bottom edge and dust. But you get what you pay for. If you have a xoom stay far away from this one it's like night and day. Purely my opinion.

Totally dissagree. I returned my xoom after getting my TF.. I have none of the problems noted. And I do have a working sd card slot. And it was $200 cheaper. And I like it better cause of the potential growth and expansion. ImHO

It's 200.00 dollars cheaper because it has hardly any aluminum with 90% plastic, no flash for the camera and it's 16gb. Xoom will soon get the SD card update but I'm in no hurry I have 32gb.

who honestly needs a camera flash on a tablet? Nothing wrong with plastic, it gives instead of dents and you're gonna put a case on it anyway, however each to their own. My ONE problem with the Xoom was the cheap screen. I honestly dislike the iPad 2 aside from its screen and it's weight.

Have to agree with buzzman... Returned my Xoom and don't regret it a bit. The plastic doesn't bother me and I don't need flash on the camera (probably don't even need the camera - if I want to take a picture, I have several 'real' cameras to choose from) and the Transformer has Gorilla Glass and a display I can actually see in the sunlight - no problems with dead pixels, light leaks, or dust. With 32GB memory and a 32GB MicroSD, I have plenty of on board memory. With the Dock (doubles as a hands-free stand, LOL), I can hook up my mini 750GB USB hard drive with 200GB of music, 400GB of video, and 100GB of pictures. Add a set of speakers (or use the HDMI out) and I'm set... As always, YMMV...

Yup, and we have Android 3.1.

You're right to each his own, I was just pointing out the obvious why xoom is 200.00 more. But lets not forget that if anything breaks, dents, cracks or needs a battery replaced two simple screws on the bottom of the xoom and the rear case slips off exposing every individual replacement part including the glass which is separate from the display. And imo I think the xooms display is more pleasant to view. But the viewing angle goes to Asus.
