Are you happy Samsung moved the location of the fingerprint sensor on the S9?

it was a good move but I hope, more importantly, they fixed the Facial recog as well as improved retina scanning. facial doesn't work at all and retina is great about 1/3 of the time; other times I'm left staring.

It is much better than the S8 and the Note 8 but I use the face regonition that works realy good on the S9+.

No. I didn't get why people hated s8 location. I never smeared camera lens after few days of getting used to.
If I hold a phone and reach my index finger, the sensor is exactly there. Now with S9, I have to bend my finger to reach the sensor. Now I press the camera lens MUCH more often.

I'm thinking of returning s9 just because of this annoyance.

Its much easier for me since I have a case that separates camera from fingerprint scanner

It's better now but still prefer the fingerprint sensor to be away from the cameras. I like the cameras to be on the top corners and fingerprint in the middle. In this way you never smudge the cameras when trying to find the fingerprint sensor.
