I looked at the N8 and I still want to look at the V30....
I really don't "need" a new phone..... I have a perfectly fine V20 (& V10).
But I do like up to the minute technology... ( At least yearly )

On the fence about preordering and waiting for a price drop (I did vote for waiting for a price drop). Given the current prices of flagship phones the V30 is competitively priced. If the preorder deals are good enough I might preorder.

I like it that the V30 is lighter, has a much improved screen and the new audio/video features are interesting. However, my V20 is working fine.

Since I'm on Tmo, the 600mhz support is also compelling, though I don't think I will see 600mhz in my area (Chicago) for awhile.

Although I'm keen to replace my Note 4, I'm not preordering either device until I see how they are in practice as launch devices can sometimes have issues that need ironed out.

After the price break for SURE! LG has a track record for quickly lowering the price. I can wait a month or two. I DO really like what I have seen of the phone so far! And YES Mike I did vote, before you ask! lol

I'm sticking with my V20 for now. I'll wait until the price drops significantly (and for LG to release a global or GSM/CDMA version) and for more paychecks before I buy it. But I will definitely be buying it.

I am will use JoD to get the Note 8 first since it will be out first. Then jump to the V30 and see which one I like better. Gotta love TMO's JoD program!

Not buying until much later. Gonna wait to see if there are any issues first in the forums, as well as user experience (waiting for a really good glass screen protector that works, if ever possible). Also, waiting for a price drop, $700 isn't bad but really unnecessary if you already got a phone from 2016/2017. Note 8 is looking really attractive too despite the annoying FPS placement.

I will be pre-ordering. I am on T-mobile and have V20 on primary line. Upgrading to V30 to get Band 71 (600 MHz) compatibility.

I too will be using the JoD program at t-Mobile to buy the V30. Until the V30 is actually released, I will use the Note8. I just hope I can hang on to a Samsung phone for a bit. I haven't had any luck doing so.
