Are you switching to the S9/S9+?

If Samsung updated their software on a monthly basis (and there's no reason for them not to), then I'd get an S9+ in a heartbeat. But since they only update their software quarterly, I have no desire to get one. My next device will either be the new iPhone or a Pixel 3 XL this year.

But for those of you who do end up getting the phone, enjoy the hell out of it!

I just switched from an S8 to an S8+ so I don't think I'll be doing anything short term either. I might be looking at a Pixel for my next phone too.

Switching from the Note8 to the regular size S9 in blue. The S9 Plus is appreciably bigger in the hand than the S8 Plus. It's more in Note8 territory than S8 Plus territory, and the despite being 6'1" with proportionate hands, I liked the feel of the thin Nokia 8 for instance much more than the Note8.

The S9 will also feel bigger in the hand than the S8 (being wider and thicker), so it should be a perfect size.

I'll be moving from my V30 to an S9 plus. The V30 is a very nice phone but I like the health monitoring that is available on the S9+, specifically the new blood pressure monitor along with the heart rate and blood oxygen monitors. I had open heart surgery three months ago so that info is important to me.

I am already up for a upgrade for verizon. I am paying the S8 monthly and as long as i pay at least 50% of the phone, I can upgrade free of charge. I perfer this route than paying full price for a phone.

I am still on S7 edge and have paid 75% and Verizon told me I had to wait until I completely pay it off. I wonder how you were able to get 50% of the phone paid and be able to upgrade for free.

I will be making the jump. never had a Samsung phone before but this one looks very refined. I'm thinking there won't be a lot of bugs to be worked out at this point and I'm ready for a top of the line camera coming from my V20

I was hoping the diamond pentile would finally get nixed, since causes screen door with Gear VR. Alas, apparently same panel as the S8. Maybe the S10?

Today Tmobile told me that JOD customers have a $120 d0wn payment. When I got my Note 8 they had a special for 0 down JOD. I likely won't go for the S9+ especially if they dont offer a no down pmt option on it. Love my Note and though I do like JOD, I'm not paying a down pmt for this phone. At least not at this time.

I'll wait it out for the note 9 the note 9 will get everything the s9 has and added features. Plus I do use the s pen a lot so I'll wait. It will be hard because I love new phones. We will see if I have the strength to wait it out lol.
For me it's easy for now, since Tmobile wants a $12o down and I got the Note 8 for 0 down

That's not bad, so paying that down by half you won't have a down pmt on the S9+?

Low light camera on the S9+ is going to be so much better than my V30, and I'm finding it is such an important feature... my S7 Edge took better pics in low light than V30. Not even using the quad dac, so yes, I'm upgrading, can't wait!
When did you get your V30

Not a close call. Unless someone offers a premium phone w/replaceable battery and stylus I'll stay put with Note 8. And that ain't going to happen.
Could you imagine. Note 9 with a replaceable battery. I think they'd have a load of sales off of that. Oh well we can make believe right
