Are you using a Launcher?

Been using Nova for years. Still am, but with all the good lock modules, I may take the plunge and try one ui someday.

Currently looking for a way to solve this issue.. let me know if you spot it Screenshot_20250208_163545_Nova%20Launcher.jpg

I used Nova with an 8-page layout for 10 years, until they canned the entire Nova team, and I decided that to deal with frustrations until a one-man team found time to fix YOUR bug was a bit too much, so I switched to OneUI, trimmed my layout to 2-pages and haven't looked back.

Nova still works for what my simple needs are. Restored a backup from my S22 and everything was the same on S25.
Might try UI7 if and when Nova doesn't work for me.

I also was a very long time Nova user, but switched to One UI a few years ago when Nova was having some issues with gesture navigation. There are things I miss about Nova, but One UI is good enough, and I do like it's smoothness.

The thing I miss most about Nova are the 1- and 2-finger swipe gestures to launch any app or action. But I've learned to do without them now. *sniff*

Happy with stock launchers on my phones. All stock launchers have the Google feed integrated into them, which is the only must have feature on the launcher for me

No problem using the OneUI launcher on my S25 Ultra. Been a while since I used third party launchers and I don't miss them.

When Nova said they weren't going to support folding phones I made the decision to drop Nova and started using Samsung launcher. Samsung finally got it to what I was using Nova for.

Nova was a great launcher, but who knows how long it'll be around since the company that owned it pretty much dropped it, and since I switch between the S series and fold phones I just use Samsung launcher since Samsung supports both phones.

This thread has me removing Nova from my phone, in fairness I saw no need on the S24U so I'll probably stick to OneUI again and hope HomeUp is released soon.

Although I can install icon packs in the theme park, I am curious if anyone has a way I can preserve the calendar icon being dynamic without rooting or new launcher? It's livable, but if there's a simple fix I just don't know about I'm all ears.
