Arrrgh can't decide on my next android!

Looking for help & advice on which flagship Android phone I should upgrade to? I play ingress, so need to use battery pack daily & like to listen to music at the same time. Long term HTC flagship user, as for me high res audio playback is a must. U11 no 3.5mm jack 😱 so with regret bye, bye htc. Pixel 2 was going to be my choice (android os updates big attractor) but latest leaks indicate no 3.5mm jack either 😭 Samsung touchwiz is loathsome compared to HTC sense & does put me off. As augmented reality will be a fast developing area during the 2 years of my upcoming contract & the area I'm most likely to be engaging in more and more, I'm really struggling to find a phone that will tick most of the boxes that are important for me.
