As someone who's never owned a Note, Note 10+ or Note 20U?

My current phone is the S10+, but having never owned a Note before, I'd like to try using the S-Pen. My feeling is, it's better to have it and not need it than to find that you could use it and not have it. Aside from the obvious cheaper price, are there any differences between the two that should make me choose one over the other? I love the Mystic Bronze color way and the matte finish of the 20U, as well as the fact that they returned the buttons to the right. My concern though is the reviewers who claim the battery life is just average.

Granted, everyone's usage is different, and I am a basic user in that I only play games like Scrabble or Uno (don't judge me, lol), so I don't really push the CPU. Nor do I take anything more than the occasional point and shoot photo. So I'd like a phone to gave good standby time. But I'd like to use the pen to jot down quick messages or numbers, or write up shopping lists without wasting paper. I'm in NYC, so I'd be getting the unlocked SD variant. What would you do in my case? Advice appreciated

Think you should get the phone you like, try it in your area under your usage and if you like it, keep it. If you don't return it. IMO nobody knows you and your phone usuage better than you.
Agree 100% with the "it's better to have it and not need it than to find that you could use it and not have it."

It's really a personal choice. But I have an interesting anecdote. My cousin isn't a power user not sure he have any more taking it professional need for the SPen. But he happened to have a Note phone when we played some Jack Box games at his sister's apartment and his drawings were notably better than the rest of us. His sister was the only artist of the group. So I have seen some good casual reasons to have the SPen, but whether or not it's of value to any specific individual is always the choice of that individual...
