[Ascend Mate 2] Will this phone work on the wind network?

The phone in question is "Huawei Mate 2 unlocked . I tried putting in my wind 3g sim card and it won't register. Or do I need a lte Sim card?

Welcome to Android Central! It ought to work, since Wind uses the AWS 1700/2100 band, and the Mate 2 supports that. Go to Settings>Cellular Networks>Preferred Network Type and make sure it's set to GSM/LTE. Also, make sure the Network Operator is set to Wind. If it still doesn't work, contact Wind and see if you can try another SIM card.
