Would this phone make its way to India? If yes, by when?

No one here knows if or when.

This is what their website says:

The Essential Phone is only shipping to the U.S. and Canada at this point. We hope to expand our shipping opportunities to other countries soon, so stay tuned.

There's a link in the middle of their site next to the Essential Phone Dock that says "Keep me posted." Click that to enter your email address.

When will the Essential Phone be available internationally?

The international release of the Essential Phone will be announced at a later date. Further information regarding availability will be announced on Essential.com. Please be sure to keep an eye on our social media channels and Essential.com for these announcements!

Nobody knows really. I'm sure they have a tentative schedule for international release, they mentioned Japan in an article I remember reading.

They will probably concentrate on the US & Cananda first at least for the next few months. From what I have read they are not aiming to sell millions of units around the world just yet. Trying to get a foothold and word out that they exist.

I don't think we'll see any international availability until next year. Maybe importing the unlocked version is an option.
