My primary laptop boots to login in just 25 seconds and my secondary laptop in 35 seconds. My Pixel 8 Pro is even faster at 13 seconds. Maybe because I still remember when computers and phones could take minutes instead of seconds to do so, 13, 25 and 35 seconds seem blazingly fast to me.
I suspect that many of the same people who waste countless hours playing games, browsing social media, watching TV or twiddling their thumbs also wail like banshees if they have to wait a whole 30 seconds for their phones to boot.
My desktop gaming PC boots in 11 seconds. I have Windows installed on an PCIE NVME SSD. My S24 Ultra boots in 15 seconds. I also remember slow booting of both Windows and Blackberry devices.
