News Ask Jerry: What happens if Google ignores the EU's DMA rules?

I'm no friend of Google anymore as many of you know but the EU really has a chubby for Google. Prioritizing your products and services in YOUR OWN product isn't inherently bad unless it outright hides or omits competition.

How is this any different than what Crapple, Microshaft and Beta do? They all prioritize their products first and foremost and in many cases only theirs. Google should be treated because they are (for now) the dominant force which is solely based on user choice and not a forced hand like the others mentioned?

Someone ELI5 this for me.
