Astro File Manager not Moving/Copying Files

I am trying to Move or Copy a notification tone from my SD Card to the phone. I select and hold the file... then choose Move from the popup screen... then navigate to the phone system/media/audio/notifications. Paste is not available.

Do I have write access? If not how do I enable? What am I doing wrong?

You don't have permission to write to /system
Only root can write to /system in Android, and the Eris is not rooted.

kilo if your just trying to make a notification, try ringdroid, can be downloaded from the market and allows you to create the tones, and save them as a ringtone or notification tone.

also im not sure if it is only for root users but Rings Extended works well if you already have the sound that you wish to use on the device.
