Astro needed?

Basically just want to know if there is a difference between the "my files" app that comes with touch wiz and other file managers, particularly astro?

... pretty much if you download a .zip file, the stock my files app can't extract them. I have Linda file manager for this reason (small app). I'm not sure if you can install .apk's from the stock app either (use the previous app for that reason as well).
