Sorry to ressurect this thread, but I just had this happen to me. However, it looks like the person couldn't verify something so they called me. Whoever did this, said they lost the phone down a storm drain and used an email address similiar, but with a lot of extras to mine. Asurion placed something called an eye on fraud on my account. They will now require papers faxed in, but that's fine. I've never made a claim yet.
