Asus 7 fonepad dual-sim crushes

Hi guys,

Could you please help me out here? My Asus fonepad 7 keeps crushing whenever it wants: during phone calls, surfing the net, skype calls, etc. It disconnects me, the screen goes completely black for a few seconds and then it acts as if it's just exit sleeping mode. Everytime it does this I have to re-enter the pin for the 2 sim cards I have and restart whatever app I had on. The Android version I have is 4.4.2. Any thoughts please? It's driving me crazy! Welcome to Android Central! It can be hard to figure out what's causing that. The first step would be to boot into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.
